Situated at Buenavista de la Norte in the extreme north western corner of the Island, Buenavista golf course is surrounded by the Teno mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean. The 18 hole, par 72 (6090 metres) Buenavista golf course was designed by the much loved Spanish golfer Seve Ballesteros. The course has six of each par threes, fours and fives. The greens of five of the holes are set close to the rocky coastline and on many days the Atlantic rollers provide breaking waves to create a remarkably beautiful backdrop.

Due to the position of Buenavista Golf in the North of the Island, the climate can be more changeable than the drier South of the Island, therefore in the winter months golfers intending to play at Buenavista ought to take a close look at the weather forecast for that part of the Island, especially those travelling from the South.

Buenavista Golf offers buggy/trolley and golf club hire facilities two practice putting greens, a chipping area, and the Ballesteros Natural Golf School. The clubhouse with terraces, bar, restaurant offers spectacular views over the course and Atlantic Ocean.
